Training Cycle on Sustainable Food Tourism in Latvia
A training cycle for tourism businesses focusing on sustainable food tourism will take place in Latvia from March to May 2026 as part of the TASTE project.
The programme consists of four in-person training sessions addressing key topics such as gastronomic storytelling and communication, plant-based solutions in contemporary menus, efficient resource use and food waste reduction, and the development of tourism experiences based on local food, people, and place.
The training cycle is led by gastronomy, tourism, food production, and sustainability experts actively involved in the TASTE project. These experts have previously taken part in project study visits and training activities and now apply the knowledge and practices gained by delivering targeted training to tourism SMEs at national level.
